DTN COMMENTS: Just a few bids are on the table at midday by a Regional in 
Nebraska. Asking prices are yet to be established. Packer inquiry should 
continue to improve later today and/or tomorrow. Significant trade volume 
will likely be delayed until Wednesday or later. 

Beef cutouts are significantly higher at midday (choice 319.51 +5.32, select 
299.19 +2.46), with light to moderate box movement (29.74 lds of choice 
cuts, 11.22 lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 13.34 lds of ground). 
Cattle futures near the noon hour are mostly sharply higher on both live and 
feeder contracts.
